How Canadian and World Studies supports the UTS vision and mission

UTS calls upon students to become socially responsible global citizens. These two concepts, social responsibility and global citizenship, are the core subject matter of Canadian and World Studies courses. By reflecting upon the past, understanding the present, and planning for the future, these courses seek to build competencies in the skills, knowledge, and attitudes we require to make decisions fully aware of their implications for ourselves and the wider communities.
